Goal
Consistent with the objective of many of Matt's clients, Michelle's intention was to create a library of powerful images evoking her warm, authentic authority as a leading event planner.
Outcome
The initial engagement was an executive branding shoot for her that took place in her Sears' (Willis') Tower offices and on the newly completely four floor outdoor rooftop garden that resulted in a dozen strong images that positioned Michelle as friendly, authoritative and urban. Over multiple subsequent shoots Matt created additional images of her as well as corporate branding images of the whole team in action and headshots of her staff. Over the past five years Matt has returned several times as her business has grown and evolved. Michelle and her team have also come to the studio to update their images as well as to have new staff photographed.

As is typical, Michelle was referred to Matt by a mutual acquaintance in the late summer of 2021 as life was beginning to return to normal. Michelle was gearing up to make a mark on the event world with her nascent planning business Ethos Event Collective. She was looking to co-create imagery that would reinforce her image as a leading event planner.

She was so pleased with her images that she has continued to call upon Matt and his team as her business has evolved and grown. Most recently, in the summer of 2026, she came to the studio for a new series of branding images including images celebrating her five years in business and three years of sobriety.
