Matt and Beth met at a tennis club in River Forest, and the very first assignment had nothing to do with business at all — documenting her then-husband's turn as Chicago's Hometown Hero Runner-Up with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds. The following year came something even more personal: portraits of Beth's four children, one of Matt's earliest forays into children's lifestyle photography. Family portraits and life's milestone gatherings followed in the years after.

That foundation of trust — built entirely outside a boardroom — became the reason Beth turned to Matt in 2015 when she launched a major personal branding campaign as a high-powered personal injury attorney. He built her firm's library of executive branding images, and that same evening, documented her final address as President of the Inn of Court, one of Chicago's most prestigious legal associations.

As her practice has evolved — new partners, new chapters — she has returned again and again to keep her image current.
Fifteen years, one family, and one career: a rare, complete record of what it looks like when a single photographer is trusted to see someone fully, across every part of a life.
